HELP EDUCATE THE BALOCH CHILDREN

This online fundraising campaign is to help and provide basic educational facilities to the Children of Dargas village in Sistan and Baluchistan, Iran. There are currently 6 Schools in devastating conditions in the village with 670 students, most of the school buildings are not furnished since the last 40 years. As the schools terms are about to start the children have nothing to look forward to as the 21 classes in the 6 schools are unbearable to sit in the intense heat and there are no drinking water facilities available as some of the children walk miles to get to the school. The children are from poor family backgrounds and cannot afford to purchase stationery. Due to such harsh conditions many of the children are leaving the schools forever and being deprived of basic education. Our friends in Dargas have already tried to rise funds locally and with hard work and commitment have managed to provide stationery to over 500 students. But that is not enough as the schools need improvement works and basic facilities to the 21 classrooms such as air cooling systems and drinking water as the weather could get as hot as 45 Celsius in this area. As a young individual who has been through the British education system I clearly understand that education is the door to progress in society. Your donations will help provide the very basic educational needs to the children and could be a reason for many whom have left to return to the schools and complete their education. Even a small donation can have the potential to drastically improve a child’s quality of life.

Our Children are our future!

Thank you for your kind donations,

Omran.
