Victoria Global and The Soho Loft Media Group support the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) Training Academy VP in Practice: The Fundamental Toolkit, that is slated to be organized this June 4-5 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.
The EVPA Training Academy VP in Practise will be held at the University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain from Thursday June 4, 2015 7:00PM till Friday June 5, 2015 10:00PM. For the third consecutive year, EVPA will launch its Training Academy course named VP in practice: the fundamental toolkit’.

This course will be attended by all enthusiasts who want to know more about Venture Philanthropy (VP) and Social Investment (SI). It will be an interactive training program that balances the mundane theory parts with a unique practical format, that will be taught by academics and practitioners. The ones who attend the training will be imparted a solid understanding of the following.
Attendees will get to learn the different investment models available within Social Investments and Venture Philanthropy
Trainees will be taught about social impact and how they can both measure and manage it better.
Board management and conflict resolution will have a new take with focus on the best practices available
Exit strategies will be taught in detail including different strategies.
Discussion on the way to go when offering non-financial support to Social Purpose Organisations (SPO’s)
The total number of participants is restricted to 15-20 who will be coming from all over Europe. This will provide them with excellent networking opportunities and a Certificate of Participation will be given to individuals who attend all the sessions of the course and complete their assignments by EVPA. The course will be held in 2 different European cities.
Module I will be conducted in 4-5 June 2015 in the Barcelona at International University of Catalonia while Module II will begin from 15-16 September 2015 at the EVPA head office in Brussels at Philanthropy House.
The fees for the event will be €950 for EVPA members and €1,250 for non-members. There are also a number of scholarships available that includes travelling costs and fees. The second Module of this program will be held at the EVPA head office in Brussels at Philanthropy House on 15.16 September, 2015. The 3 months between the 2 modules will help the individuals to improve learning and integrate theory into day-to-day activities.
