Archived: Swingbyte: Motion analytics company starting in golf; using wearables and machine learning to turn data into insight

iCrowdNewswire - Aug 18, 2015

Swingbyte has developed a bluetooth-enabled device that allows golfers to put all of the data of their golf swing right in the palm of their hand. Our next product, scheduled to launch in the next couple of months, uses a machine learning algorithm to take that data and provide its users very personal, actionable, and measurable insights that allow them to improve their golf game anywhere and anytime they want.

The next step for our company is to take the technology we developed for golf and apply it to other wearable markets. Today, these other wearables provide data but give little, or no, insight into how users can use that data effectively. Our machine learning algorithm can be applied to any motion to improve technique and prevent injury, making wearables useful tools for all users.
