We’re hoping to buy a small catering pod and fully furnish it to environmental health specifications. This will give us the chance to bring our unique take on street food to the people of Glasgow and the surrounding area, with hopes of eventually getting a permanent location to expand and adapt our food into something truly unique and special. The money donated will go towards the pod itself and the necessary equipment within.
Working in various chef roles over the last few years has made me all too aware of the lack of passion within much of the industry. I’ve personally experienced the frustration of trying to deliver different and unique foods with the aim of maximising the customers enjoyment, only to be reigned in by profit driven management with no interest in food. I feel that now I have to do things for myself and I would be incredibly grateful and humbled by any contributions.
