What is the social/environmental problem/issue that this project will address?

This project will address the current fundamental lack of an adequate modern learning environment in the discipline of computer technology & IT Development for the students by providing the required resources needed to create a conducive learning environment needed in this modern technological age for the acquisition of indispensable IT Skills, Knowledge & Practical application in whatever life disciplines the students choose to employ.

Can you give us some statistics on this problem?

The Current ICT Lab is in a deplorable state with only a handful of computers for approximately 2000 students coupled with no valid or relevant educational software licences, a broken and non existent  conducive infrastructure such as Power, Chairs and Tables to enable the students to learn.

What is your solution?

The Alumni aim to provide a minimum of between 30-50 PC units / Laptops / Servers / Relevant Software Licenses / Chairs / Desks / Power Units / A Stand  By Generator / Teaching Resources & on-going maintenance needed for a sustainable conducive learning environment for the Students.

How will you deliver this?

The Alumni are setting up a crowd funding page in buzzbnk.org to collate donations in the diaspora and have set up a bank account in Nigeria with six signatories to collate donations within Nigeria. Account Name: International School Lagos 1995 Set Corporate Account.

The Alumni have also set up a small Project management committee consisting of Mr Oladapo Ogunjana, Mrs Seyin Olusanya, Mr Deji Ogunye and miss Idowu Adenubi, all experienced professionals  who will source, purchase, project manage and execute the alumnis’ objectives.
