Graphic news, Wiki news, Social news, Multilingual, No Ads: that’s why we need The IndyGraf, what the others don’t tell you.
Our information is sick. It’s sick because it is in the hands of a few huge publishing groups. It’s sick because it’s increasingly controlled by politics. It’s sick because it’s failing to act as the watchdog of democracy, failing to ask the difficult questions and too often accepting the official version of stories.
Our cure is to consider the official version as just another hypothesis to be checked. Our cure is to be unafraid of pissing off the powerful. Our cure is to tell the truth, bolstered by the fact that we have no advertisers to keep happy.
L’informazione è malata. È malata perché è in mano a pochi enormi gruppi editoriali.
Come and visit us on indygraf.com to see how we look at the world and what we mean with “real information”!
The Indygraf is a newspaper that writes about the derelict and the marginalized just as it does about the big banks and multinational corporations.
This is a newspaper that describes wars and human rights violations, but also the power plays that create wars and abuses.
This is a newspaper that talks about children and young people and that talks to the young. It’s a paper that considers the lives and passions of everyone to be equally important. It’s a paper that approaches an abuse of power and the creation of a cartoon with equal seriousness.
This is a newspaper that devotes the same attention to a devastating war as to a Korean couple living in the shadow of the Colosseum. It’s a paper that treats with the same deference a political leader who launches an ambitious reform program and a private citizen who invents a machine that can improve the life of the needy.
We don’t dedicate special attention to the last and the neediest. We dedicate special attention to everything significant that happens in the world, whether it be great or small. Because we know that great events influence many individual human lives, and many small stories help to define the outline of great events.
The IndyGraf is a careful mix of aggressive information, counterinformation and in-depth reportage. We pay particular attention to the social and the international. The IndyGraf focuses on a number of themes of great appeal to the public, such as childhood, nutrition, and tourism.

Consider, for example, the production of heroin in Afghanistan and the relative illegale trade all around the world. Has someone ever talked about that in a way like this?
The IndyGraf needs you. We need your support to start producing content for this new newspaper, which will get you so involved that it seems your own.
The IndyGraf will give you a chance to be informed about the world and about daily life from a point of view that is close to yours. We are like you, and we want to describe the world from the point of view of people, not interests, corporations or governments.
You can donate any figure to support us, from the cost of a pizza up to €5.000.
We have decided to give you something that expresses the spirit of The IndyGraf in return for even the smallest contribution. Even the tiniest donation represents a scream of protest against a muzzled information that fails to do its duty. And it represents a desire for something entirely new, which doesn’t sell its soul to the highest bidder.
We are a group of journalists who believe in the need for a new way of reporting the news, involving our readers in the process. The IndyGraf is unique in both form and content. Our idea of information focuses on the essence of the facts: we tell reality as we see it. And the only suggestions we accept are those of our readers.

He is the author of “Puppetmasters: The Political Use of Terrorism in Italy”, published by Constable in 1991. It examines the role of the P2 masonic lodge and foreign intelligence services in the manipulation of Italian terrorism, and has been translated into Italian and Turkish. The Independent said: “Puppetmasters will doubtless become the definitive work on Italian terrorism,” and the Sunday Telegraph described it as “outstanding”. His second book, “The Last Supper: The mafia, the masons and the killing of Roberto Calvi”, was published by Constable & Robinson in 2007 and has also been translated into Italian. An updated and expanded version was published in September 2013 by iuniverse.com as “The Vatican at War: From Blackfriars Bridge to Buenos Aires”. H.P. Albarelli Jr, the author of two books about the CIA, described it as “an instant classic… a must read for anyone the least interested in the Blackfriars Bridge affair, and much, much more”. Willan contributed research to David Yallop’s bestselling book “In God’s Name”, on the alleged murder of Pope John Paul I, and assisted Charles Raw with research for his book “The Money Changers”, on the relationship between the Vatican and the Banco Ambrosiano and the background to Roberto Calvi’s death. During a year spent in London he contributed to a research project commissioned by the Greater London Council on the possible consequences of a nuclear strike on the city. ENGLISH
We are asking to all of you a real KICK to start.
Our project is complete: we know how the website will have to be, every single page of it. We know how many people we need, from journalists to designers, to developers. And with 35.000€ we can begin to build the website.
But it requires a lot more of money and a lot of time, because the website is very complex and full of informations and animated/interactive elements. That’s one big risk and one big challenge. We need your support to find someone that fund every single aspect of The IndyGraf.
You can prove that you believe in independent and uncensored information. That you need it.
If we will reach our goal, we’ll begin to work to build the website. It means a lot of infographics, of interactive maps, of videos, of articles, of informations and so on. And it means, of course, find a developer with the x-factor, that can realize the website we have in our minds.
Support us, we will not disappoint you. During the “work in progress” you will be informed about every new single step in our road to build The IndyGraf brick by brick. We will work hard to change, through The IndyGraf, the terrible situation of information. We really want it. And we really believe in it.
ITALIANO
E ci crediamo davvero.
