Archived: Conversion Brewing Co.: to provide a clean place to unwind after a hard day, or meet with friends and family

Conversion Brewing Co.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far!

The community response we have received has been overwhelming.

Front doors

“It takes a pub to make a village.”

In the days before prohibition, there was a brew-pub in nearly every town, large or small.  Conversion Brewing will be the first commercial brewery in Lebanon, ever! Being located in Lebanon’s historic downtown provides a great opportunity to revive some of our local past. Our families are very involved in our community, and are excited to share its history.

Our goal is to provide a clean place to unwind after a hard day, or meet with friends and family. We will offer craft beverages brewed on site and delicious food served in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Our brewer has perfected his recipes for several classic American ales, such as Northwest IPA, honey amber ale, and a perfect pale. However, his true passion lies with historic European beers. His personal favorites are Bavarian Weiss, Double Rye Saison, and English Barley Wine (the latter two of which recently won awards in the Oregon Homebrew Festival!). All of our brews have a focus on balance.

We love and appreciate classic beers from both sides of the Pacific, but we aren’t afraid to brew out of the box! Our special releases will give you another reason to impatiently wait for your favorite season. Our personal favorite: Pumpkin Scottish Ale!

We also have a craft alternative for our non-alcohol drinking patrons! Our Conversion sodas are tested by the toughest critics: our own children, nieces, and nephews! The soda line includes such flavors as Lemon Bliss, Orange cranberry, andRaspberry Bliss. Not just for kids, these gourmet beverages also have a “grown-up” appeal. And don’t be afraid to blend! Raspberry Lemonade Bliss, anyone? Or top off a Bavarian Weiss with Lemon Bliss for our Converted Shandy!

Conversion Brewing is happening!

Our current funding will get us open, get a glass of our beer in your hands, and a place for you to sit while you sip. But we want to give you so much more! We want to give you GREAT FOOD.

This is where we need your help!

Our food menu will feature a wood-fired pizza oven, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. Based on hours of research, we’ve selected the oven that will best suit our facility. The oven will be located outside the kitchen, in the dining area, so that you can truly appreciate the experience of a wood-fired oven.

Your contributions will go directly to funding the pizza oven and outfitting the kitchen. While the “backer rewards” are amazing, we feel that the elevated experience gained by this addition is the true incentive! Thank you in advance for your support and involvement.
