About Keyham Kolts FC
Keyham Kolts was formed in 2004
We became an FA charter Standard club in 2008 and in 2010 we were voted the FA Charter Standard club of the year award. We are a ‘Charter Standard Community Club’ now which means we have to follow, abide and meet certain criteria laid down by the F.A. We are one of only a handful of clubs in the South West that hold this prestigious award!
We have teams ranging from U8′s right through to senior teams, we also have 2 girls teams and a new ladies team starting for the new 2015/16 season. However we as a football club are not all about matches, but ensuring that children from all walks of life can enjoy the game, with this in mind we now have not only a community programme for the 7 and unders but we also run an autistic programme, one of our players from that programme now plays in our U13′s (2015/16), he has made so much progress that he now attends Exeter ADC!
Keyham Kolts U13′s is managed by Steve Mulligan & Helen Mulligan, both came into the club and took over the team in September 2014, Steve is a level 2 qualified coach and is also a coach for Plymouth Argyle Community Programme, so has a whole host of experience. Helen is also the Assistant Club Welfare Officer, Assistant Secretary and also the clubs Web & Press officer.
We as a team have only been together since September 2014, after alot of players left us for pastures new. At the start of the season we had just 9 players, and a hand me down kit our season did not start to well, but with determination and overall team spirit and hardwork we finished strong. We have now increased in numbers the team currently stands at 12 players and still growing!
I, Helen Mulligan am now trying to fund the cost of a new kit for the team and training equipment ready for the new 2015/16 season. Any help would be massively appreciated!
Thank you
