I want to walk. Help for veterans.
We would like to inform you that we are an association that came out of the Croation war of the independence and brings together a population of poeple with different form of illnsses caused by war. One of the association’s goals is to improve the health status and the social status of our members and their families.
Accordingly, this association has started an action named „I want to walk“ by wich we attempt to collect money for the medical treatment of our friends Srećko Josić and Goran Brozina.
Mr. Srećko Josić, is heavily diseased. He has an amputation on his left foot, where they have removed one toe and allso an amputation on his right foot, where they have removed his thumb. Owing to the action from the last year, that this association initiated, mr. Josić was nearly two months in the Cleveland clinic in Ohio. After the operation his left foot was healed, but becouse of the shortage of finances, he could’nt get medical treatment for his other foot. Srećko is a volunteer in the Croation war of independence and father of two boys, one seven and other three years of age. He lives with an unemployed wife and two sons in a home and has an income of 650 $. To finish the medical treatment successfully, Srećko needs an another operation in the Cleveland clinic. He needs to collect the money for the operation as soon as possible. If he does’nt succeed, this father of those two boys will be bound to a wheel-chair forever.
We need to collect 26.000 $ so that Srećko get’s his medical treatment. The situation is utterly critical and urgent.
