Labs on the Go

Medford, OR 97504, US

We are building a certified Independent Clinical Laboratory (CLIA) in Medford, Oregon. The business will provide mobile in-home testing for the homebound community, including assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The management team has proven the concept through the building of a similar lab in Nashville, TN, and created $40,000+ in weekly sales in under 12 months, on an accelerating growth arc.

We have already secured patients and patient referral partners for the Medford location. A full business plan and pro forma are available. Capital raised will be for the acquisition of the license, automated lab equipment, state-of-the-art laboratory management software, and initial working capital. Additional unique features of the business plan define an excellent replicable niche for the U.S.

Products / Services

Independent Clinical Laboratory

We will be an independent clinical laboratory offering in-house testing for the most common tests required for homebound patients. We will be unique in the market by solely offering our services on a mobile basis and providing same day results to physicians. Our nationally-certified phlebotomists go to the patient’s residence (or place of work) to collect the specimen(s), versus the inconvenience of the homebound patient going to a clinic.

Managing Director Business Development
Jerry Slaughter

With 20+ years’ experience in business management, sales, and building diverse businesses, I have led a successful consulting company that helps businesses achieve their highest potential. Pertinent example: I took a failing clinical laboratory with a 60% A/R collection rate and $8500 in weekly sales, to over a 90% collection rate and $42,000 a week in sales (and growing) in under a year. I have specific expertise in mobile medical practices; including mobile physician groups, clinical laboratories, in home care, and other practices. I began my career in restaurant management, transitioning to a Fortune 500 company, where I was personally responsible for generating over $1 million in annual sales and consistently being in the top two for sales in the entire company nationwide. My focus over the last four years has been in consulting and building businesses in the health care industry. I have also secured additional general management expertise to assure the roll-out is successful.
