LiveStories
Data Tool For Non-Technical People
LiveStories was founded in 2013 on a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We were tasked with the job of empowering their largest grantee, AGRA, with a tool that would help them measure and evaluate their impact and easily report results. The project was a success, but we soon realized that the nonprofit and government sector was lacking data tools that could help inform decision-making on a broader level.
This raised the question: How can we help governments and nonprofits to become more data-driven? The solution was a data tool that enabled even non-technical users to analyze data and share insights, so knowledge could be shared faster across all organizational levels and more decisions could be made based on timely and relevant data. LiveStories was born.
We are honored that LiveStories is now being used to facilitate data-collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and decision-making in governments, foundations, and nonprofits around the world.
At LiveStories we want to take part in the world we live in and do our best to affect it positively. Our customers help improve sectors such as healthcare, education, and public safety. They are responsible for improving vital issues such as obesity, immunization, food security, and foster care.
While we are not on the front line, we do have the capability to help our customers have a greater impact. Empowering our customers with data and technology that helps them achieve more is what inspires and motivates us. In the end, it is not about numbers and charts; it’s about the people behind the data.
