Vet On Demand is the first mobile application to provide
personalized, real time access to veterinary care
through the power of telemedecine.
Pets today are considered family members, best friends, confidants, and so much more. Taking care of them requires not just dedication, love, and nurturing, but also the right knowledge to recognize illness and make medical decisions for your pet. The Vet On Demand® app provides quick, professional veterinary answers and advice for the situations and concerns that you face while taking care of your pet.
Every pet should have access to the care they deserve.
Traditional veterinary care channels aren’t meeting the needs of pets & their families.
One in Four U.S. Families Can’t Currently Afford Veterinary Care
21.5% of cat owners and 29.3% of dog owners who did not visit a veterinarian in the past year said they could not afford it.
Nearly ½ of Cats and a ¼ of Dogs Didn’t Visit with a Veterinarian in the Past Year
44.9% of cat owners did not take their cat or cats to a veterinarian, up from 36.3 percent in 2006.
18.7% of dog owners did not take their dog or dogs to a veterinarian, up from 17.3 percent in 2006.
Vet on Demand meets three currently unmet needs identified by pet owners.
Predictable cost.
Research shows that pet owners indicate they would welcome an opportunity to pay for veterinary services a la carte.
Competitive pricing.
Because Vet On Demand handles many administrative hurdles in the background, we can provide pricing that allows for everyone to have access and still pay our Veterinarians at a premium rate.
Improved convenience.
Research shows that many pet owners would like to have access to a Veterinary Practice open earlier or later than usually available in their area.
We have grown to about 20 veterinarians currently who have signed up for our service, and are looking to grow to at least 50 veterinarians within the next 90 days. Our current focus is finding the optimal vet/user ratio so that we can tune our system to deliver the best results to both our vets and our end users.
— As an avid dog parent, I saw the hassle, stress and expense assosciated with taking my pet into the veterinarian! Our beautiful German Shephard absolutely hates going into the vet, and will shake uncontrollably every time. If I can utilitze a company that allows me to get her the care she needs without making her (and me) hysterical, then I’m ALL IN! —- Jason Gillette
