The story of the project
A Cellar Door sales facility and function space almost 20 years in the making!1997 was a big year for Matt & Jackie Jarvis. They got married, sold their home in
Perth and bought 25 hectares of land with a plan to plant some vines. By 2002 they had produced their first vintage of premium Margaret River wines using grapes planted themselves in 1998. They used a contract wine-making facility until they could afford to build their own winery in 2011.
Unfortunately in June 2012 a devastating winter storm destroyed the new winery and the 2012 vintage was lost.
A new winery was built ready for the 2013 vintage with plans made for a Cellar Door sales facility which, in 2015 is now close to completion.A true family owned business Jarvis Estate is owned and operated by Matt & Jackie Jarvis who live on the property with their 3 daughters Caitlin, Madison and Ashlee.
Having received a 4 Star rating from James Halliday, Jarvis Estate have established Export and Interstate markets – but are now looking towards a new Cellar Door facility and function space located just 12kms from Margaret River. With the building now complete, this Pozible campaign will fund the fit out of the Cellar Door and offer premium Margaret River wine to ALL our supporters.
All supporters must be aged 18+. Rewards will only be supplied to people over 18 years under WA Liquor Licence (Producers) No. 6180084905.
