West Palm Beach, Fla., May 1, 2024 – Steinger, Greene & Feiner, a leading personal injury law firm, is proud to announce that partners Alfred Bell, Jr. and Neil Anthony secured a jury verdict of $1,000,000 on Friday, April 12, in Ft. Pierce before Judge Warnocki. The 5-day trial was related to a car crash, with new injuries and aggravation of a pre-existing condition. Though State Farm’s insured was clearly negligent, it waited to accept any responsibility until shortly before the case was originally set for trial.
The client, a single father of three young children, suffered impairment in his ability to work and support his family due to the crash. Being a father and supporting his family is the most important thing to him, and this crash disrupted his family system and turned their lives upside down.
The client had overcome prior injuries to return to a physically demanding job only to have more surgery from this crash.
State Farm’s limit was $100,000, yet State Farm rejected our client’s $100,000 proposal for settlement and had offered less than $10,000 before the suit was filed. The final jury verdict was $900,000 over the policy limits.
Alfred Bell’s inspiring commitment to the truth spread like wildfire throughout the courtroom and led the jury to a just result. Our attorneys were committed to getting justice for our client and his three children. Our client is grateful for the work of Alfred Bell, Jr. and Neil Anthony, and his family will benefit both materially and emotionally.
“We are extremely proud of the outcome of this case and the hard work of our attorneys,” said Michael S. Steinger, founding partner of Steinger, Greene & Feiner. “Our firm is dedicated to fighting for our clients and their families, and we will continue to do so with every case we take on.”
