Los Angeles, CA, August 1, 2023 – Since its inception in 2016, Vista Studios was synonymous with excellence in the entertainment sector, playing a pivotal role in the production of a long list of television shows, commercials, and live multi-camera productions. Over the years, Vista provided top-tier facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, and unmatched expertise to countless content creators, earning a sterling reputation among industry peers.
As a result of its recent chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, however, Vista’s state-of-the-art facilities are headed to the auction block on August 22, 2023. ThreeSixty Asset Advisors and CA Global Partners will host a live online only auction sale for all the company’s assets.
According to ThreeSixty, this is one of the best broadcast facilities to come to market in years. Jeff Tanenbaum, President of ThreeSixty states that “the assets of the sound stages and 4K-capable control room are the best in the industry and no expense was spared in setting up this incredible broadcast production facility”.
Interested parties will have the opportunity to preview the assets during an inspection which will be held the day before the live online auction at Vista Studios Playa Vista facility on August 21st from 10:00am to 4:00pm PDT.
The now offline Vista Studios website describes the company as an independent production facility that specializes in REMI, multi-camera live productions, with state-of-the-art sound stages, control rooms and production offices on site – all strategically located in the heart of silicon beach (Playa Vista, CA). Their facilities are comprised of 50,000 square feet of live production space, 22,000 square feet of sound stages, 4k equipped production control rooms and AES 67/Dante equipped audio control rooms.
According to a quote from a major showrunner on the Vista website, “Vista Studios is a producer’s dream. It’s built from the ground up to consider the technological needs, office and workspace requirements and it’s all laid out to follow the flow of the production process for any pilot or series team – and the people there are fantastic.”
The company lists numerous partners that have used the Vista facilities, including Food Network, PBS, the CW, Lionsgate, Billboard, Fox, Peacock, Youtube Originals, Amazon, HBO, AMC, E, We, Tru TV and many others.
Vice President of CA Global Partners, Michael Presto, says, “the Vista facility is beautiful and everything in the facility will be lotted and posted online from the Sirius 850 router, the Dante comms system, the Ikegami cameras, each stage light, monitor and AJA recording deck…”
