Washington, District of Columbia – May 26, 2021 – DHS announced that its Board of Directors has appointed current Vice Chairman of DHS, Fernando Aguirre, as Executive Vice Chairman. The appointment has taken effect on today, May 26th, 2021.
Fernando Aguirre was appointed the role of Vice Chairman in December 2018. Peter Ladson, outgoing Chair of the Board of Directors said, “Fernando has led DHS very well over the past 6 months and navigated a particularly challenging time through the global economy. I am confident that Fernando will provide the leadership and expertise needed to guide DHS through the next phase of growth. The Board and I are delighted to appoint Fernando as its permanent Executive Vice Chairman.”
Mr. Aguirre has been with DHS for 10 years, and has been involved in a wide breadth of DHS’ operations, including leading DHS’ private equity and assurance program as well as venture capital investments development and manufacturing initiatives, and leading key internal programs and launching a number projects.
