Cataworx’s B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform significantly reduces time and manpower required for communications solution providers to buy and sell wholesale services through automated workflows and instant quote capabilities
BOULDER, Colo. — (Nov. 19, 2019) — Cataworx, a B2B telecom software company redefining the way wholesale connectivity services are bought and sold, today announced at the MEF19 Conference in Los Angeles, its scalable automation platform has facilitated a partnership between Infonas W.L.L and Multinet Pakistan to quote and order wholesale services.
“Communication service providers (CSPs) have been restricted by time-consuming, manual and error-prone sales processes that often yield unsatisfactory success rates for entirely too long,” said Adolfo Perez-Duran, co-founder and CTO of Cataworx. “Our innovative technology solution, based on MEF LSO Sonata, made the engagement of Infonas W.L.L and Multinet Pakistan frictionless, decreasing the pricing and sales cycle down from weeks to just a few minutes. Because every company is different, we empower our customers to define workflows and tailor solutions to clients’ unique processes, systems and infrastructure.”
Cataworx’s platform uses MEF 3.0 LSO (lifecycle service orchestration) Sonata, a set of application programming interfaces (APIs) based on the LSO reference architecture that enables service automation across providers and over multiple network technology domains. Implementation of LSO Sonata APIs will drive frictionless inter-provider business processes and faster service delivery across the service provider community.
Cataworx delivers a suite of pre-sales cloud-native applications that enable communication service providers (CSPs), wholesale operators, bandwidth infrastructure providers and telco/cable carriers to seamlessly scale their pricing and sales operations in order to automate the quote and order process. The company’s automated platform now provides Infonas and Multinet customers and wholesale partners with a secure, self-service platform for searching the two companies’ service catalogs, reviewing service details and service availability in order to generate instant online quotes. The platform’s application programming interface (API) integration treats on-net and off-net quotes equally, simplifying the quote process regardless of type.
The partnership began by leveraging Cataworx’s success at MEF18, where the company won the silver award for its Automated Commercial Interactions technology solution. As a result, Cataworx and Infonas, a leading global telecommunications service and cloud provider offering local and international telecommunication services throughout the Middle East, partnered to enable Infonas’ participation in Cataworx’s MEF18 proof-of-concept.
“Cataworx has a distinct set of capabilities that empowers our business by transforming and evolving our commercial interactions with other service providers,” said Rafik Shafik, chief technology officer at Infonas. “Their technology takes days out of our previous manual system, which ultimately helps us efficiently and rapidly procure and deliver secure connectivity to any location around the world.”
“Cataworx understands the pain and costs of integrating different provider business systems, and their solution simplifies these integrations,” said Shoaib Syal, general manager, International Carrier Business at Multinet. “With MEF experiencing tremendous support for MEF 3.0 inter-provider service automation initiatives, we believe Cataworx should be the vendor of choice for such solutions for business and commercial sales transactions because they make these initiatives possible.”
Multinet Pakistan, a leader in domestic as well as international data & voice services, provides reliable connectivity solutions through its footprint of international PoPs and terrestrial network extensions into neighboring countries.
