Executive Networks releases “Global CHRO of the Future” research at HR Tech
New York, NY (Sept. 13, 2022) – What’s priority number one for Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs)? According to Executive Networks’ “Global CHRO of the Future,” a research report sponsored by XpertHR, it’s keeping employees satisfied through the “Great Re-Evaluation.” The research explores the challenges CHROs are grappling with in the workplace—including how, where and why we work—and the technology and structural solutions they are implementing in response.
“The Global CHRO of the Future research provides valuable context into the increasing complexity, mounting tensions, and very real challenges of CHROs in today’s tumultuous business climate,” says Laci Loew, Senior Global Analyst, HR Strategy and Insights, XpertHR. “We’re proud to sponsor this seminal research which defines actionable insights for senior HR leaders seeking to build and sustain a purposeful workplace and a successful workforce.”
According to the research, three-quarters of CHROs indicated that talent retention and attraction are their key priorities and HR leaders are struggling to stem the tide of resignations. Other strategic areas of concern and opportunity for senior HR leaders include environmental/social/governance (ESG), future of work issues, internal talent mobility, work-life balance, diversity/equity/inclusion (DE&I), employee well-being, and leadership development.“The past two years have changed the way we work in profound ways, and HR leaders are under pressure to help their organizations re-think what will make employees want to stay,” said Jeanne Meister, Executive Vice President, Executive Networks. “In many cases, it comes down to meeting employee priorities and purpose.”
Insights from the research report will be explored during a panel discussion, “How CHROs Are Preparing for the New World of Work,” at the HR Technology Conference & Exposition on Wed. Sept. 14. Jeanne Meister, Executive Vice President at Executive Networks, will moderate. After the session, Meister will field questions and delve deeper into research results at the XpertHR booth on the HR Tech tradeshow Expo Hall (#6516), beginning at 3 p.m. PT.
