Borough of Bath, PA, has partnered with OpenGov, the leader in modern cloud ERP software for our nation’s cities, counties, and state agencies, to upgrade its inspection process.
For the past several years, the Borough of Bath, located in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, found its inspection process cumbersome while using legacy software, iWorQ. Borough leaders decided it was time for a change when iWorQ could no longer support the requirements of the Borough’s new Rental Registry and Inspection Ordinance. That’s when leaders agreed OpenGov Citizen Services was the modern solution they were seeking for virtual inspection software.
The Borough’s new ordinance requires that landlords obtain a rental license and have their property inspected every three years. Using OpenGov Citizen Services, landlords can log on to schedule an inspection date and have an inspector automatically assigned. Inspectors can then digitally record results as well as upload photos from the field. Easy-to-use reports improve transparency as they are shared among departments and with landlords. By partnering with OpenGov, the Borough of Bath will simplify its process, increase code compliance and improve relations with landlords.
The Borough of Bath joins more than 1,000 public sector organizations leveraging OpenGov to revolutionize work processes with cloud-based software designed specifically for the needs of government.
