Annapolis, MD – Evans Law is pleased to announce some recent personnel changes at the firm. Managing Associate Gary Damico has been elevated to Partner, and attorney Jonathon Scruggs enters the firm as a Partner and leads our Land Use division.

Gary Damico is a Baltimore native who has been with Evans Law since 2019. Since joining the firm, Gary has quickly established himself as an expert in both commercial and residential real estate. Gary’s entrepreneurial background, litigation experience, and real estate knowledge forms a unique skillset that has helped make him one of the leading attorneys in the Annapolis area. He currently leads the firm’s transactional real estate practice.
Jonathon Scruggs joins Evans Law after serving as a partner for Schlachman, Belsky, Weiner & Davey, P.A in downtown Baltimore. During his time there, Jonathon represented individuals and corporations (both federally and locally) throughout the state of Maryland on various disputes and litigation topics. Jonathan is a fierce advocate for his clients, and he is known for his strong work ethic and dedication to protecting the rights and interests of those he encounters. In addition to his litigation skills, Jonathan has extensive experience representing clients in Zoning and other Land Use actions.
