Davis comes to the Firm with more than 35 years of experience and over 75 jury and non-jury trials.
MIAMI, Fla. — (October 20, 2021) — Haber Law today announced the addition of Steve Davis to the Firm as Senior Partner and Co-Chair of the Litigation Department. The hire, along with adding Justin S. Miller as Of Counsel in the Construction Department, marks a significant expansion of the Firm’s Litigation and Construction Departments.
Practicing since 1982, Steve Davis has litigated antitrust, real estate, contractual, and business disputes in both federal and state courts. He brings a high level of professionalism, judgment, and experience to the matters he handles and is prepared to take cases through verdict and appeal, if necessary. Davis has presented oral arguments in appeals before the Supreme Court of Florida, Florida’s Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
A prominent Florida Bar and Miami-Dade County Bar leader, Davis was President of the Dade County Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. For eight years since 2013 Davis served as an elected a member of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar representing the 11th Circuit. Davis served on the Board’s Executive Committee for his last five years on the Board. In 2021 Davis received the President’s Award of Merit for his work on the Board.

As Of Counsel, Justin Miller’s practice focuses on construction law, liens, as well as general commercial and business disputes. His expertise includes construction defect and delay claims, liens, and construction contract negotiations. Miller’s clients include community associations, developers, contractors, design professionals, and business owners. Miller has also represented landlords and tenants in commercial and residential real property disputes ranging from lease negotiations to evictions.
Prior to joining Haber Law, Miller spent the first years of his legal career at a prestigious defense firm representing contractors, design professionals, and developers. Having extensive experience as a defense attorney focusing on construction litigation, Miller brings a unique perspective to the table.
