Jim Feldkamp believes that bragging rights do not belong to anyone who finishes half a race. Consequently, in February 2022, when the 2019 – 2020 Clipper Race Round the World resumes Jim intends to set sail from Subic Bay, in Luzon, the Philippines with skipper Guy Waites and the crew of Clipper Race Team: Dare to Lead. Notably, at the postponement of the race on March 17, 2020, at the end of Leg 5, Team Dare to Lead held eighth place. Nevertheless, Waites, Jim Feldkamp, and the rest of the crew of Team Dare to Lead currently feel confident that they will not only finish but will also gain first place. The team intends to win the remaining legs of the Clipper Race Round the World, helping earn the £1,000,000 needed for charity partner UNICEF’s worldwide projects.
Even though Jim Feldkamp and the skippers and crews of all the clipper ships paid fees to participate, they also fundraise for charity partner UNICEF throughout the race. Moreover, anyone may sponsor a leg or the entire circumnavigation of the globe.

Jim Feldkamp lives for challenges. Jim decided to join that small group of people who have tested themselves against everything the ocean could throw at them. His intense disappointment when Covid 19 quarantine regulations disrupted 2019 — 2020’s Clipper Race Round the world made it imperative to rejoin the team and complete the final three legs of the voyage,
