Hello everyone, I am Tony, and I have purchased the Ultimate Small Shop by Ralph Chapman…
Being a carpenter myself who also teaches about woodworking, this product is a good fit for me.
I don’t argue with the sale pitch… ‘set up shop under $1000.’
But after my purchase, I notice some questions about the legitimacy of ‘Ralph’ and his plans.
(Which may come from aggressive marketing tactics and strategies used by the marketers and affiliates of the product)
There’s no doubt this is one of the top-rated woodworking products over the internet…
However, are these small shop plans even legal?
That’s what I am going to cover in this review.

Note: This is not going to be yet another glorifying review. After going through the Ultimate Small Shop, I feel there are few things you should know before making your buying decision.

For writing this Ultimate Small Shop review, I did some digging about the product, its author, and previous users’ opinion on it.
Some of these reviews were indeed a little bit sketchy…
However, I found ‘Ralph’ doesn’t exist. The creator of this product uses persona just like many companies use different persons or characters to tell what the product is about or give another dimension.
(Have you ever saw your favorite celebrity endorsing some products, but they are not using themselves?)
We as users might feel cheated, but sadly this is how the world is working these days. However, it is essential to note this marketing tactic doesn’t change the product and its benefit in any way.
What it does is we start doubting all the claims made by the product’s sales video/page and by its creator.
And upon researching further, I found some claims’ Ralph’ make on the product sales video are a bit sketch as well; a few of them are:
Like any other popular product, some people start questioning the product’s legitimacy, and some people start calling it illegal.
I am not a lawyer, and I can’t comment on these allegations.
However, I tried contacting Ralph and ClickBank about this issue, but I received no response.
Additionally, I feel some people calling Ultimate Small Shop’s plans ‘illegal’ should prove against the product as this is a severe allegation.
Ralph launch these small shop plans at the starting of 2019, and he is still selling them, which makes me wonder if these plans are ‘illegal,’ why authorizes are still allowing them, and why no one can file a suit against them.
What I conclude is, if nothing has happened till now then possibilities of something happening to this product seem to be significantly less.
Woodworkers have a solid online presence, and they always respond whenever any woodworking plan launches online.
However, it seems like many online woodworkers and bloggers are not happy with the Ultimate Small Shop program, and they blame its aggressive marketing claims Ralph is making on its sale video/page.
Honestly speaking, whatever Ralph does to sell its product will not impress these woodworkers because they never like any such woodworking plans.
It is like Starbucks or Pizza Hut coming to the small town where many people don’t like the idea, but still, people can’t say no to these brands’ conveniences.
Similarly, many woodworkers will never like Ralph’s product, but Ralph will keep selling it as people can’t say no to the benefits they will get from a product like this one.
Now let’s talk about the product and what’s inside it.

I am changing my home in the coming few months, and the new house comes with a garage that sits around 25 to 30.
I will print out the eBook and use it to set up a workshop in my new garage. Additionally, I will also share some tips with my friends who are interested in woodworking. I am sure my woodworking students will also get something new to work on.
The great thing is, experienced woodworkers can start working on their own after reading the book. However, beginners should get some help from friends or family members.
