Thrive Senior Living announced that six communities across Georgia and Florida were selected as award winners of SeniorAdvisor.com 2021 Best of Senior Living by A Place for Mom, Inc., the largest senior living referral service in North America. This designation identifies senior living and home care providers who sustain consistently high ratings and positive reviews – an honor only awarded to the top 3% of providers across the U.S. and Canada.
Despite industry challenges posed by these ongoing health cisis, Thrive Senior Living has worked aggressively to maintain human-centric, personalized care for its residents throughout the health crisis. A Place for Mom surveyed families that moved into a personal care community over the past six months with 86% of caregivers indicating that health crisis did not influence their decision to move their loved one into a community during these ongoing crisis, mainly as a result of seniors needing care beyond what could be provided at home. More so, nearly 9 in 10 families surveyed with a loved one in senior living said they were satisfied/very satisfied with the care their loved one was receiving this past year, as caregiver fatigue became an unfortunate reality with 77% of caregivers reporting that they have been overwhelmed by the demands of caring for a senior since the beginning of this health crisis.
