SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 14, 2021) – The City of Birmingham, AL is expanding its partnership with OpenGov, the leader in modern cloud ERP software for our nation’s cities, counties, and state agencies, to improve its current budgeting and planning processes with OpenGov Budgeting & Planning.
After struggling with manual processes that cost the City two critical weeks in the budget season, Birmingham looked to OpenGov’s Budgeting & Planning suite to help mitigate its operational challenges.
“Picking a good partner is critical to the success of any journey,” said OpenGov Global Vice President of Customer Success & Business Development Claudia Arriaga. “Having already achieved impressive results with our Reporting & Transparency software, we are excited to continue working with the City as it looks to evolve its budget process and improve its efficiency for better financial decision making.”
The City of Birmingham is one of more than 1,000 public sector organizations leveraging OpenGov to revolutionize work processes with cloud-based software designed specifically for the needs of government.
