Scott Chappelle, President of Strathmore Real Estate Group, Discusses Company Expansion Plans

Strathmore Real Estate Group continued its expansion to new markets including Florida, Utah, Virginia, and Ohio with new residential and commercial projects.  Strathmore is currently pursuing two grocers anchored ground-up shopping center developments in Hanover County and Chesapeake, Virginia.  President Scott Chappelle points out that there continues to be migration from the midwest to southern states and he expects this trend to continue.  “It is becoming increasingly more difficult to locate viable development sites in these rapidly growing markets,” says Chappelle.

Strathmore has committed to move forward on approximately ten highly visible retail sites in Florida including Pascoe County, Lee County, Polk County, and Hillsborough County.  These sites all share several factors in common including high traffic counts and enhanced drive-thru capability.
