An earlier this month, Honda released the all-new Honda Jazz in Singapore, marking its first 2021 B-segment hatchback’s debut in the ASEAN region auto market.
The new Honda Jazz is the freshly-designed car with innovative features and top-tier technologies that Honda has never applied in any Honda cars model before. There are three variants available in the Singapore market: Jazz 1.5 Base, Jazz 1.5 Luxe e: HEV (Hybrid), and Jazz 1.5 Home.
After years of experience, Honda may completely understand what customers demand in their auto products. There are many signatures of Honda to list out, but the most impressive one probably the engine.
For Jazz 1.5 Base and 1.5 Home variants, the engine is powered by 1.5-liter petrol, capable of powering up to 121 PS and 145 Nm. Compared to the previous models, these records are the top-tier overall regarding speediness and energy efficiency.
On the outside, both the entry-level and mid-tier variants look identical, the range-topping trim gets the silver garnish trims, specifically on the grille, on each side mirror, and a single strip that runs through its doors. Besides, these two models are also equipped with a CVT-type automatic transmission, which Honda has just only specified in two other models before.
Meanwhile, the Jazz 1.5 Luxe e: HEV comes with the Honda Signature technology i-MMD petrol-electric hybrid powertrain. Thus, the 1.5 Luxe’s torque can generate a 253 Nm and 109 PS traction motor. Besides, the Luxe Hybrid petrol returns about 3.8 liter/100 km, much more petrol-saving than the regular 5,7 liter/100km.
For the outstanding marks of exterior design, the 2021 Honda Jazz comes with an all-LED lighting system that was applied to its projector headlights, daytime running lights, taillights, and fog lights.
In terms of the infotainment system, all Honda Jazz models are equipped with a 9-inch control touchscreen with built-in Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, an automatic climate control, push-start button, a multifunction steering wheel, and keyless entry with walk-away auto-lock.

The 1.5 Base and 1.5 Home variants have the 4-speaker system. Meanwhile, the Luxe e: HEV gets eight speakers, which will provide the perfect bumping-up experience for any driver.
Furthermore, the standard safety control system of these three Jazz models features six airbags and stability management tools. The Luxe even has the Honda Sensing Suite driver-assist service that is just normally equipped with high-end models.
In terms of pricing, the price of Honda cars is always affordable for middle-class and upper-class households, so we may not have to worry that much about the new models’ prices.
After a few months from now, the official 2021 Honda Jazz will be available in many other automotive markets, including the Philippines. However, because of the exportation cost, the Honda Jazz price in the Philippines may soon vary, stay tuned for more details coming!
