Pilot Dr. Frank Roach recently talked about how charter flights could become more popular than ever in 2021.
ATLANTA, GA / JANUARY 15, 2021 / Charter flights once seemed like a form of travel reserved for the rich and famous. However, the coronavirus pandemic has made this once elite form of transportation much more accessible. Pilot Dr. Frank Roach talked about how charter flights will likely become more popular than ever in 2021 and the coming years.
“People are extremely nervous about flying right now, as airports and commercial airplanes seem to be hotspots for spreading the virus,” Dr. Frank Roach said. “Charter flights make safe and healthy flying possible during the pandemic.”
Dr. Frank Roach explained that there’s no doubt people worldwide will be more hesitant to jump into a packed commercial plane in 2021 and future years. However, charter flights can solve many of the problems that are driving these travelers away from flying. Dr. Frank Roach explained that private jet charters contain a drastically smaller number of people. They also offer more personal space for each passenger and easy, uncrowded airport access.
“You don’t have to stand in long lines at the airport to check-in, check your bags, or board the plane when you fly via charter,” Dr. Frank Roach said. “This eliminates many of the touchpoints where the virus can be spread.”
Dr. Frank Roach stated that the coronavirus pandemic has made charter flights more affordable and accessible. Right now, many countries or destinations can only be accessed by charter plane. Dr. Frank Roach explained that because more people are now flying charter, who would have flown commercial, they may get the charter travel bug.
“It’s difficult to return to traveling via commercial jet once you’ve traveled via charter,” Dr. Frank Roach said. “The process is so much easier and stress-free that you’ll find yourself looking for charters as an alternative to commercial flights.”
Dr. Frank Roach explained that flying via charter is drastically more convenient than flying via commercial airline. You only need to arrive for your flight roughly 30 minutes ahead of time, and some will allow you to bring more luggage than a commercial flight free of charge. Pets are often welcome on charter flights without an additional fee as well.
“COVID-19 has made flying via charter jet a drastically more popular way of traveling, and some hotels are catching on too,” Dr. Frank Roach said. “The Wynn Las Vegas, MGM Resorts, and a variety of other hotels around the globe are offering unique pandemic packages complete with a charter flight included.”
Dr. Frank Roach explained that many hotels and travel agents are currently helping their customers locate affordable private jet charters instead of commercial flights, even when commercial flights are available.
“While health and stopping the spread of the virus remain major concerns around the globe, we can expect charter jets to become a more popular form of travel,” Dr. Frank Roach finished. “And once you go charter, you may never go back.”
