Junior Engineer (Permanent)
This Permanent job as the Junior Engineer is also called as the Open Line in Indian Railways.
Roles and Responsibilities
He will be in charge of the track section, which stretches to a couple of stations. The responsibility also involves checking and maintaining the best track condition to ensure the smooth running of the train. The junior engineer will be working under SSE.

Junior Engineer (Bridge)
Junior Engineer (Bridge) is responsible for building and maintaining overhead bridges of railway stations.
The pay scale of the Junior Engineer Bridge is approx. Rs 9300- 34800/- pm along with the grade pay of Rs 4200/-
Junior Engineer (Track Machine)
The Junior Engineer will have the responsibility to work track machines. He is responsible for handling the maintenance of the track machine. The junior engineer will be working along with technicians.
Inspecting of track machines and ensuring all machines are working satisfactory and in proper working condition.
Electrical Engineering
In railways, the electrical engineering department is essential, and the respective engineer is responsible for working on the electric locomotive, traction distribution and other areas. The engineer will also be liable to check the air conditioning, power supply, train lights, etc.
