Dr. Gloria Wu discusses the Eye Quix iPhone application and how it can help improve vision.
Smartphone applications have become a major part of our daily lives. We check the weather forecast, chat with friends, socialize, and perform countless tasks online with our smartphone apps. Now, we can even use our iPhones to improve our eye health. Dr. Gloria Wu, the physician-creator of the mobile application at Gloria Wu, MD, A Professional Medical Corp., recently discussed the new Eye Quix iPhone app and how it can help improve vision.
Dr. Gloria Wu explained that the Eye Quix app is designed as a quick and easy way to help improve vision. Even more, she stated that this app is designed to be fun, so users are eager to return time and time again, which can result in superior vision.
“This app encourages users to enjoy the gaming aspects of the eye quizzes,” Dr. Gloria Wu said. “The games, puzzles, and other vision enhancers are designed to be entertaining, so you don’t feel like you’re ‘working’ or performing a boring task to improve vision.”
Dr. Gloria Wu explained users only have to devote between 10 seconds and 1 minute to the app per day to potentially see improvements in vision. She added that the vision-enhancing games are ideal for all people, including kids, the elderly, adults who work on the computer, and athletes who desire to play their sport with superior vision or see better without contact lenses or glasses. Dr. Gloria Wu stated that the latest version includes nine new games for users to enjoy.
“We’ve seen so much positive feedback with this app that users can expect more exciting games to be released soon,” Dr. Gloria Wu said. “We have tennis players using it to stay sharper on the court, and kids who are using it to view the blackboard more easily in school. This is an app from which everyone can benefit.”
Dr. Gloria Wu explained that the latest app has 14 available tests. She stated that performing one test per day, one eye at a time, will show improvement. Dr. Gloria Wu added that many users have seen such large improvements that their prescriptions have changed.
“Eye doctors have been sending kids and adults home with eye-enhancing exercises on paper for decades,” Dr. Gloria Wu finished. “We’re simply making these exercises more fun and drastically easier to access. Eye training exercises are no longer a chore when you have the Eye Quix app on your phone.”
The Eye Quix application is now available for iPhones, iPads, and the iPod touch. It requires iOS 11.0 or later and costs just $0.99.
