(LOS ANGELES) – Eve H. Karasik, a partner at the leading bankruptcy and insolvency law firm of Levene, Neale, Bender, Yoo & Brill L.L.P. (LNBYB), has been appointed president of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum for 2020-21.
The mission of the Forum is to be the leading educational and networking resource for the bankruptcy and insolvency professionals in the Central District of California, particularly Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and Santa Barbara. Membership is diverse, ensuring a balanced approach to education and practice issues and providing opportunities for a wide cross-section of the local insolvency community.
“It’s an honor to serve as president of the Forum, working with colleagues on the Executive Committee and Board to further LABF’s stated goals in the Central District of California,” said Karasik.
At LNBYB, she focuses on business restructuring and bankruptcy, representing businesses in a variety of industries, working on behalf of corporate debtors, creditors’ and equity committees post-confirmation liquidating trusts and others in cases pending around the country.
Ms. Karasik is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and a member of the Executive Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute. She has been honored for her skills by Super Lawyers of Southern California, Best Lawyers in America, and AV/Preeminent Attorney as rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
