As the Dallas Mavericks are preparing for the NBA’s restart, their big man Boban Marjanovic showed off some dance moves.

Dallas Mavericks released a video on Twitter where Marjanovic could be seen dancing. “Friday night social distancing dance party,” they captioned the video.

Marjanovic, 31, came into the Mavericks side last summer after having previously played for Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers. Standing 7’10” tall, he can have a significant presence inside protecting the rim.

The Mavericks are among the 22 teams getting ready for the league’s restart in Orlando. Talking in a recent interview about playing inside the bubble, Marjanovic felt positive although he did not know what to expect.

“I can’t imagine what it will all look like, but I believe that it will be something similar to the World Cup, as well as that all security protocols will be detailed and clearly defined. In general, the NBA always thinks of everything. And it will certainly be the same this time. We’ll all be together, we’ll see each other off the court as well. It can’t be bad in Disneyland, that’s for sure,” Marjanovic told Zurnal (H/T EuroHoops).

Dallas Mavericks will be aiming for a good finish to the season

The Mavericks have ended their playoff drought this season, thanks to their sophomore sensation Luka Doncic. They were sixth in a tight Western Conference prior to the league’s suspension. With a relatively young side, the Mavericks will be looking to go as long as possible into the post season.

The Mavericks will be restarting their season with a game against Houston Rockets on August 1. They later gave games against Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings before two tough games against Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks. They finish their regular season with games against Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers.

Talking recently about playing in front of empty stands, Mavericks’ star man Luka Doncic admitted it would feel weird.

“Honestly, I don’t know. I never experienced such a thing,” he said. “It’s going to be worse for sure. I enjoy very much the fans in the gym as opponents or at home fans, there’s always noise. It’s going to be weird so I don’t know how I’m going to feel.”
