XtraTime Web Desk: Barcelona was forced to settle for a 2-2 draw despite taking the lead twice against Celta Vigo in La Liga on Saturday night. This was the second time the Catalans failed to secure full points since the re-start of the league. Quique Setien’s team now has 69 points from 32 matches while arch rivals Real Madrid is on 68 having played a game less. Luiz Suarez scored twice for Barca while Smolov and Iago Aspas found the target for Celta Vigo.
Barcelona took the lead in the 20th minute of the match through Luis Suarez. The Uruguyan International took advantage of some schoolboy defending from Celta Vigo to head home from a Messi freekick.
Saturday’s result leaves Barcelona on shaky ground in the LaLiga title race, as Real Madrid can now take a two point lead over them if they can win against Espanyol on Sunday.
