The streaming giant, Disney, officially confirmed a huge re-shuffling of its main expected movies and shows because of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19. It seems as if the already delayed Indiana Jones 5 got affected because of this worldwide pandemic.
The movie was earlier planet to be released on July 9, 2021. Because of the ongoing Coronavirus worldwide pandemic, the release date of the movie has been shifted to July 29, 2022.
This is just the newest information received on what has been going with Indiana Jones back on the screen, a method that has been following on and off pretty much since the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was broadcasted on the screens in 2008.
In February 2020, the franchise was able to create a huge shift when it was declared that James Mangold would be taking over all the directing duties from Steven Spielberg that would mark the first time anyone other than the Raiders of the Lost Ark filmmaker would carry on this project.
If we assume that this movie ever gets published on the screens and ignoring all the difficulties and the fact Crystal Skull is an unholy hatred better left unnoticed, the movie should definitely be released on the screens.
Although we have not received any information regarding the expected plot of the movie, in a recent interview, Kathlee commented that this movie would not be a reboot rather it would be an in continuation.
