A 22-year-old mother was captured in Florida this week after police in Ohio accused her of homicide on October 8, 2019, passing of her 2-year-old child, the Columbus Dispatch detailed.
As indicated by records documented with Franklin County Municipal Court, Tina Dayton was accused of the passing of Clifford “Jace” Stark III on March 6, after the coroner’s office administered the kid’s demise manslaughter.
Columbus police gave a warrant for her capture, however, she evaded catch and left the region, apparently with the kid’s dad, Clifford Stark Jr, 27.
Police said Wednesday she was caught on Monday in Duval County, Florida, in the Jacksonville region, by a US Marshals Service outlaw team.
10TV detailed that a guest to 911 made paramedics aware of a harmed kid on October 7. The guest said he was blue, scarcely breathing, and had a messed up arm. Paramedics surged him to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, yet he kicked the bucket the next day.
Dayton told agents she trusted her child had been hopping on the bed and tumbled off. However, an injury specialist at the clinic told police the kid’s wounds were “not reliable” with that sort of mishap.
The grumbling documented with the report said that Jace had interior draining and that social laborers presumed he was the “casualty of youngster physical maltreatment,” noticing wounding on “different pieces of his body.”
The coroner’s report said his wounds ran from wounds on his temple, to a cut lip, and a seriously broken arm. The coroner said he kicked the bucket of different obtuse power injury.
Police gave no subtleties of Dayton’s catch and didn’t state in the event that she was with Stark Jr at that point.
