? [UPDATE #1] The UK has now left the EU. The Withdrawal Agreement between the UK and the E.U. has been agreed and ratified by both parties. The UK has entered into a so-called “transition period”, meaning nothing will change until the end of the transition period, which is 31st December 2020. We now don’t anticipate any problems, as we will ship all our products before the transition period ends. (February 1, 2020)

REFUND & RETURN POLICY Refunds can be issued within 14 days after the end of Campaign, no questions asked. 10-12 percent will be deducted to correlate with Kickstarter & Stripe & bank processing fees. The refund might go through Paypal or another payment service (subject to change). If the item received is faulty we might offer a partial or full refund (depending on the amount pledged & level of damage). You have 14 days after receiving a faulty item to make a claim and if you’d like to return a faulty item and get a new one you must act within 14 days after making the claim. If we’re out of stock or only have a limited quantity of that item and are unable to make a delivery, we’ll issue a refund. Return labels are free of charge and we will provide free return of a faulty item. Subject to UK/EU law. Refunds & Returns claims: Production_Office@ScratchingJokes.co.uk PROJECT RISKS & CHALLENGES Production-wise, there is little to no risk as we’ve already published 6 out of 9 episodes. Although we might add additional material or alter the picture or sound in certain existing episodes to fulfill rewards and goals agreed upon between ourselves and the backers (such as creating a new music score for the existing 6 episodes, etc.) and make it DVD-Blu-ray ready, we have most things finished. However, this is our first Kickstarter campaign and we are wary of the potential risks that may come our way, such as tax, customs charges, manufacturing related risks or rise of costs due to Brexit (as we will be working with international partners when fulfilling rewards). Even though we tried our best to calculate costs as realistically as possible, there is always a risk that certain costs rise due to inflation and currency exchange rates, increase in shipping & handling fees, etc. which could change delivery dates and budget estimations. We will quickly communicate to backers if there are any substantial changes. STRETCH GOALS: We’re a small production entity and, as you may know, the animation process can be quite lengthy, meaning we might have to start looking for partners overseas and teaming up with tens of other industry professionals, which may result in a short production delay in order to reach higher stretch goals. New scripts need to be written, production offices set up, etc. Crowdfunding is definitely not our area of expertise, but we are confident in our ability to deliver great customer service and a great first season, or indeed any subsequent seasons or a feature film. We’re sure that our passionate approach to problem solving and transparency will help us get to the finish line, with our backers at the forefront of the creative decision making. THAT is what makes us different! :)
