Approximately, there are 2.6 billion cups of tea consumed each day.
Imagine if everyone were to use tea bags and not loose leaves, how much trash would we generate. Because most tea bags are not biodegradable, the waste generated is exponentially high, even if it is, they are not disposed in the right bins, as landfills are not designed to break down waste. This is why loose tea leaves are the way to go!
