For years I have envisioned a new form of urban mobility that would capture imaginations and provide utility to those who adopted it. My internet searches highlight that many creative minds around the world have the same goal.
I have been struck by one thing of the products that have reached market. These beautifully designed and cleverly crafted vehicles do not protect the users from the dangers of sharing the roads with vehicles that weigh 10, 50 or even 100 times more.
My vision has now coalesced around one thing – safety. If you want to travel in an eco-friendly, sustainable fashion you should not be risking your life every time you do so. I have had the time in the last 3 months to identify the design considerations needed to create a road safe micro vehicle.
The funding I am looking for is to build the first working unit – a minimum viable product – that I can use to prove out the concept and get others including customers and investors interested in going on this journey with me. Please click on the start arrow above and listen to my video/slide deck.
The funds from this campaign will accomplish two things: prove that others see what I am seeing as a critical need (safety) and help fund the first part of the product development cycle. If I am fortunate enough to get over-funded, you can rest assured that the money will be spent increasing the quantity and quality of my development activities.
The videos below support what I am saying. The second one is a physics tutorial so you may or may not want to take it on.
I hope you will join me and thanks for your support!

Product development is not a straight path. Challenges ahead will be balancing safety, weight, power, range, features, aesthetics and cost. This is why a well thought out minimum viable product is so important to the development journey.
