A Fort Myers woman is fighting for her life after her husband shot her multiple times after a domestic dispute arose. Wink News stated that the couple was going through a divorce which may be the reason for the argument developing. The news source said that the woman’s husband, Ronnel Mouzon, showed up at Mahogany’s Beauty Salon, which is owned by his wife, Mahogany Mouzon, located on Fowler Street and opened fire. He shot her at least a dozen times.
When officers responded to the scene, the woman’s husband was said to have turned his weapon on an officer who then fired shots at him. Mahogany was transported to the hospital where she is recovering from the multiple gunshot wounds she suffered. Her husband, however, was recently pronounced “clinically dead.” A nearby business owner spoke with Wink News who told the source that the shooting now has people worried. She said, “I know a lot of people are traumatized by what they saw because they’ve been talking about it, and they’re scared.”
The shooting occurred on a Saturday while families were out spending time with their children.
