The UEFA European Football Championship is one of the most eagerly awaited sporting events with the most significant number of followers year after year. There are millions of people who are dedicated to contributing to the Internet in favour of their team (the faithful) or in support of predictions and analyses (the most diligent in sports statistics).
With this scenario in place, it is not difficult to find the predictions for each renowned sporting event on the web. This year, as expected, there are some predictions for the Eurocup. And betting sites such as betMGM are already on the agenda.
The winner of the Euro is still an unknown, and there is still too much time to be sure about the exact results in goals and goal scorers of the matches. But there are still some predictions that can be made, such as the winners and losers of the first matches.
On June 12, Italy and Turkey will play in Rome, the match that will start the event. The next day, on the 13th, Wales and Switzerland will meet on the pitch.
Turkey has indeed shown a significant improvement in their performance. Still, they are not yet rivals for the Italian team, which is the clear winner of this group.
The second place would have to be played between Turkey and Switzerland, the latter being the team with the best chances. Wales would be in the last position.
Denmark, Finland, Russia and Belgium, being the last team in the group and in the whole tournament because they have shown an excellent performance since last year’s World Cup. Their performance since then has been almost perfect, so they have earned the confidence of the sport’s fans.
Russia and Denmark will try to score as many points as possible to take second place, but Denmark will most likely do so. Finland, on the other hand, has little to do in this qualifier. Despite the improvement it has had, it still has a long way to go to be a competitor to be reckoned with.
The Netherlands (Netherlands) and Ukraine are the fancied teams. Both teams have given a lot to talk about in recent seasons. The Netherlands have outstanding players with high cohesion and organization in their group. Ukraine surprised the world when they finished higher than Portugal in the ranking. However, the first place will most likely be taken by the orange team.
Austria will most likely be the winner against any team that makes it to the March Play-Offs.
England is the favourite team. However, Croatia is still a team to fear, leaving surprises on the pitch. The first match will be between these two teams. It should be remembered that Croatia eliminated England from the last World Cup in the semi-finals. The first place is very close, and England is no longer a clear winner.
The Czech Republic will play a good match against the two strongest teams, but will not necessarily win. They have great difficulty against these two rivals. But, no matter who the fourth-placed team is, it’s inevitable they will win.
Spain is the favourite team, although they have been losing a lot of fans, thanks to the fact that their performance has dropped considerably in recent years. On June 15 they will play Sweden and will most likely win, although with some difficulty. Sweden is the other strong team in this group, so they are expected to win at least second place.
Poland is undoubtedly the weakest team. Although the fourth team has not yet qualified, whichever team wins in March will be much better, thanks to Poland’s defensive failure.
The most competitive group: France as the current World Cup champion, Germany as the past world champion and Portugal as the current European champion. Here the passions will dominate every match, between the spectators and the players.
Germany will be playing in Munich, so they will have a home advantage. However, France has proved to be unstoppable, so the French will most likely (if only just) take first place. Portugal, for their part, have been doing very well, but may have a lot of problems this year against France and Germany.
No matter who the Play-Off team is, they have nothing remarkable to do here.
This year, the UEFA European Football Championship can be very exciting. Group F will get the most attention because of the tightness of the teams. It’s chance for Spain to reclaim some of the ground, improving their performance this year, but without too many expectations for the next stages. England and Croatia have some unfinished business. The Netherlands and Belgium have a new opportunity to excel over the classic European teams. The Italians have the least amount of worries in the opening games, so they have the safest lead at the moment.
