Omaha, NE – Local news for Nebraska is reporting on the death of a motorcyclist that was caused by a pickup truck.
Pickup truck accident causes the death of a 54 year old motorcyclist
A preliminary investigation showed that the accident happened when the pickup truck attempted to make a left turn while the motorcyclist was proceeding forward in the opposite direction. The two vehicles collided at this time. The crash was on U.S. Highway 6, several miles outside of Omaha, near the border of the town of Hastings. The driver of the truck was an 81 year old male from the town of Roseland.
The decedent was a 54 year old male from Nebraska. The pickup driver and his two passengers did sustain minor injuries, and they were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
