Project We Draw, is disrupting the fashion industry. Kids can now design their own fashion and it’s even cooler when we (adults) wear their designs! Let’s show you how.
Project We Draw is the world’s first platform to crowd source fashion designs by kids, for kids… (and even you!). Through global design competitions, kids aged 5-10 yrs old submit their drawings of what their favorite fashion garment would look like. A community votes the winning design and we take it to manufacture!
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.
We run fashion design competitions where kid artists aged 5-10 years old across the globe are welcomed to submit their drawings.
A panel of judges scores all entries into a Top Ten finalist list and opens it up to community voting. Winning artists win cash prize and fame by having a fashion collection named after their design.
Project We Draw takes the winning art pieces to manufacture into fashion garments to be worn by kids, for kids… (and even you!)
With close to 100 submissions from 9 different countries, here are the three winning designs our community has voted from our very first little artist design competition.
NOTE: The above pictures show our prototypes. You can expect the final socks to resemble these very closely!
Picasso once said that ‘Every Child is an Artist’ and Project We Draw is not only creating a platform for a global community of little artists to gather BUT wants to disrupt the fashion industry by having kids design their own fashion.
It’s also cool when we adults wear their designs too!
By backing this project, you are supporting our vision that when kids, art and fashion come together … magic can happen! We want this to grow into a fresh new fashion brand.
We are committed to nurturing this creative talent at an early age, giving a platform for kids across the globe to tell their story. That’s why we will give 5% of pledges to the little artist behind the unique design.
These are NOT your ordinary socks. Every pair of our socks is made for quality and comfort.
The combination of 200 Needle count with premium combed cotton will make you feel like you are walking on clouds!
We chose socks as the fashion garment for launching Project We Draw to draw from our experience in manufacturing the most comfortable socks (for even the most sensitive skin). We know a thing or two about socks … you can say this isn’t our first rodeo show! And our standard for comfort is very high.
The combination of this expertise and the innocence of the little artists’ design make these the coolest, comfiest socks you can get in 2020 and maybe the entire decade!
Besides being some of the world’s most unique sock collection, we have included other ‘lovely’ goodies in support of building this little global artist community.
Oh and each pair is made with love in Portugal with the highest ethical and environmental standards!
It’s love all around … so show us some love by pledging to one of our rewards below!
We appreciate everyone is different. Some have big feet and others small, so we’ve created this size chart to guide you in your size choice once we send out our survey.
NOTE: Children of 7+ years will very likely fit in our “Small” (Adult) size.
We are passionate about empowering children in expressing themselves through art. That’s because fostering children’s artistic skills helps them develop mentally, socially and emotionally; boosting their ability to analyze and problem-solve. In fact, dabbling with different media to create their art pieces allows them to experiment with chemistry and so much more. And if you had to guess it … yup we are also moms!

Now we need your support. In order to bring this platform to life that we’ve created for Little Artists to design the world’s most unique and fun fashion for kids to wear (and even us) we must place a Minimum Order Quantity with our manufacturer.
With your help and when we hit our funding goal, every penny will go towards producing, packaging and shipping your rewards in time. If you are the eager type or strive to be, you can check off Christmas gifting off your list of to do’s for 2020!
The excess funds from there will go towards developing a more robust, automated online platform that will enable us to run MORE design competitions MORE frequently, and MORE at the same time.
Our vision for Project We Draw is to make this concept of crowd sourcing designs from Little Artists a “thing” in the fashion industry – by kids, for kids (and even you!).
Help Project We Draw build this Little Artist Community, one fashion design at a time!
We draw from a lot of experience in manufacturing and fashion. Melita has worked and continues to work with dedicated sock manufacturers for Q for Quinn who meet all of the ethical, organic and safety standards. We have samples made of our socks, and our ready to enter mass production upon a successful campaign and meet our time commitments. Shipping a large number of products at once may be a challenge considering we have a small team but in order to ensure all orders are processed smoothing we will seek the expertise of proven software and will be reaching to every one of our backers to determine sizing requirements promptly. As seasoned entrepreneurs we are dedicated to setting our brand and product standards high, and we will do our absolutely best to fulfill deliveries to you, our backers! Beyond Kickstarter we have the ambitious vision of creating the first fashion brand designed by kids, for kids. This is a large undertaking. However, we are confident that a successful Kickstarter campaign can give us the proof of concept and funding required to continue to launch successful design competitions to build our community of little artists.
