Slip Strike is a competitive two-player game where agents have slipped into another dimension to fight it out using teleportation, time-travel, and a variety of weapons.
Each round, both players will select two cards from their hand as their actions, placing them facedown. They’ll simultaneously reveal these actions one at a time, resolving them one after the other. Each player is trying to strike their opponent while avoiding a strike themselves.
If a player takes a strike, they lose the game, but that player can permanently discard a teleport card to “Slip” out of the location, time-traveling to a time when they were not there. Eventually you or your opponent will run out of the ability to Slip, and then the victor will successfully knock that player out of the dimension and win the game.
Slip Strike was designed with these elements in mind:
The Blue and Orange editions of Slip Strike are almost identical. They will play the same way with the same rules. Each edition will have different Asset cards and unique art. Either game will provide a 2-player experience and by combining the two different editions, you can play a 4-player game:

Junk Spirit Games has successfully delivered four games through Kickstarter. We had a fun time creating, playtesting and producing our previous games but the real fun comes when we reach out to the community to share our passion for gaming. The reception we’ve received has been overwhelming and we are excited to continue our work in this industry.
David Gerrard owned and operated a brick and mortar game store for a number of years and has a good eye for game balance and design. He has worked with Sabertooth Games and Microsoft in the past and brings his experience and pragmatic dedication to this project.
Justin Hillgrove has been able to do a lot of amazing things as an artist – he has painted murals for Facebook in Seattle and London, worked on toys with The Coop, Rampage Toys & Funko, and created covers for Cartoon Network‘s “Adventure Time” comic, in addition to all of his own well-known creations and exhibitions. Justin’s art has a lot of whimsy and humor making it very approachable and relatable.
Zachary Vail is a graphic designer and artist with over 20 years of experience. He’s worked with us on By Order of the Queen and provides most of the content for the Orange version of Slip Strike.
Brigette Indelicato is a full-time graphic designer, art director, and creative consultant specializing in board game graphic design and logo design. Credits include War Chest, Star Trek: Galactic Enterprises, Dungeon Hustle, and Kibble Scuffle.
Shipping:
After the campaign, Slip Strike will go through a Pledge Manager system and we’ll collect addresses and shipping fees at that time.
We will be using multiple fulfillment centers in key areas of the world for shipping Slip Strike. By shipping this way, your game will likely be sent to you from within your region, eliminating the need for you to pay taxes or VAT fees. Keep in mind that Slip Strike will likely weigh around 0.22 kilos (a little over half a pound). In the USA the shipping will be First Class USPS, but two or more copies will go into priority mail and be more expensive.
If you are in a country where the shipping costs seem high, we would suggest using a shipping consolidator for any other products you may be purchasing from the United States at around the same time.
Here are your estimated costs for shipping one copy of Slip Strike:
There will be a break on shipping for ordering extra copies which will be done through our pledge manager at the end of the campaign.
During our previous campaigns we have seen some…..disheartening…. things that retailers had to deal with when trying to carry our games and as a previous store owner I feel your pain.
We are dedicated to helping retailers out. Reach out to us to pick up Slip Strike and you will receive the game directly from us, with additional free Promos and demo copies as needed.
This is our fifth game and our sixth kickstarter campaign, we are confident that this campaign to release Slip Strike will result in a high quality and fun game on your table. Our team has years of experience in creating toys, art, books and games. In many kickstarter campaigns in which I have been involved, the one thing that brings me almost as much happiness as delivering the final product being fully engaged with our backers during and after the campaign. By now you may have had some good and some bad experiences on Kickstarter. Please know that our foremost commitments are accountability and transparency. As with turning any idea into a physical product, any number of problems can arise. While we can’t control every element of the process, we can promise constant communication with our backers. And while we don’t expect any delays or date changes, and indeed have a history of faster-than-industry-average fulfillment, our backers will be the first to know if there are any unforeseen issues.
