About
More than twenty years ago I got a degree in studio art but never had the thought of seriously making a career out of art because I had reassured/promised my parents I would not become “a starving artist,” I was going to go on and get another more “serious” degree.
I put away the oil paints and the only visual art I did was photography as a hobby. However photography became less interesting to me over the years and I started to look for other creative outlets. Nothing strongly captured my interest until I got the idea to try painting again.
Creating paintings for the Make 100 challenge is a great opportunity for me to develop a habit of consistently painting and exploring ideas. I would like to share the results of my creativity with backers interested in a colorful happy paintings.
I tend to use bold saturated colors and metallics in my paintings. This set of paintings will be done on wood panels.
Some examples of my paintings …
The paintings will be ready to hang because the panels have a slot pre-drilled into the back. You just need to find a location in your room and a nail to hang one on. Here is a picture showing the sizes of three most common rewards:
I haven’t run a kick starter before, but I am open to communicating any issues with my backers as they occur. I already have some of the wood panels stockpiled. I anticipate finding the right size of packaging will be the most difficult part of the shipping process. Thank you for your support!!!
