Welcome to Masters Vol 1, by Madcap Miniatures. Our 2nd Kickstarter!
Masters Vol 1 is a collection of 6 scenes featuring a Fantasy / Sci-Fi blend that hearkens to both cyber-punk and D&D motifs. Each diorama is a multi-part print at an epic 80mm scale, lovingly crafted with great detail, and included into scenes that help tell their compelling stories. Also included in the campaign are each figure separated from their scenes at a 32mm scale for use in any campaign you see fit. Stretch goals will add more variants if we reach the appropriate numbers. Note: Digital STL files for your 3D FDM and Resin Printers.
To show the level of detail to expect, below is a sample gallery of our fully printed scenes.
In Masters Vol. 1 we feature 6 “scenes”: The Hacker, The Tank, The Cyber Ninja, The Gunslinger, and the NecroMage.
Born in 3125, in a slum of New Bay Area as part of the prole caste, Riana has risen in anonimity as one of the premier hackers of her generation. Not many have the privilege to see her real form strapped into her cyber-harness, but corporations fear when they see her signature, “The Hacker”.
When cyber-terrorism doesn’t get the job done quietly, Conglomerates and the mega-rich reach out to the shadowy assassin, only known as “Cyber Ninja”. Night is her ally and if you’re on the list, the last thing you’ll hear is the swoop of her sword before it parts your head from its body.
When you need to make your point with a “Bang!” then the mercenary only known as “The Tank” is available to the right bidder. Leveling whole villages with his grafted arm gun and energy shield, The tanks signature move is decapitation and mutilation. Destruction is like eating and *ahem* sleeping to this monster so its best to just start running if he shows up on your village green uttering his famous oath, “Blood for the Blood Gods”.
The gunslinger can track a mark halfway across the galaxy with her built-in bio-enhancements and is so known for her single-subject focus, so much so that clients will ferry her across the known universe when they have a special high profile target that has gone to ground.
You would suppose that magic would be dead in an age of technological advancement but the Tech-Necro guild has flourished under the gilded surface of civilization supposed advancement. Death is too common among the downtrodden prole that live near the surface eternally eclipsed by their betters in their high towers. Deep underground, the Necro guild has tapped into the darkness and use their powers to raise armies and hold sway over the masses causing the elite to whisper of things that move in the darkness down on the surface under their skyscraper cities.
Heaven and Hell still battle over souls on the mortal plane of existence, even in the future. The eternal war can sometimes spill over into this mortal coil and have caused a few planetary extinctions, but with so many colonized worlds, only the occasional traveling merchant notice these dead planets.
This campaign is not just about “larger than life” dioramas to fill your shelves. We also will be providing all the sculpts at 32mm sizes for use in any campaign, whether as NPCs or Player Characters.
As the campaign progresses, we want you to shape the stretch goals. We’ll collect the ideas and put them to a vote. Sculpt till our fingers bleed to give you what you want.
Missed Tribes, Garax the Goblin set Kickstarter? We have a reward option for that too! Checkout the full Kickstarter at link below or bask in some Goblin Glory here.
We tested each and every sculpt, both FDM and Resin. Our tests include an Ender 3, Monoprice Maker Select 2, Sovol SV01, and Anycubic Photon.
and Finally… The triumphant return in his second photo shoot, Niko the Savannah. He was eyeballing the Hacker..
Very little risk. All files are sculpted and have been test printed. We had the package complete months ahead of Kickstarter release so you can get your files as soon as funds are released. We know you don’t want to wait long.
