Here’s Moonlyte’s WHY!
Hi guys! Im Tim from Moonlyte. I am a recent Augusta University graduate. I am engaged to be married to my beautiful fiance’ Erika. We share two beautiful children: Princeton (2) and Mehlani (3 weeks). I am a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. I am an 8+ year veteran of the United States Army.
In December 2016 I was honorably discharged from 3rd BCT, 82nd Airborne Division in order to earn my bachelors degree in Marketing. Fresh out of an active duty Army environment, I needed to find a way to make money. I ended up working for a well known retailer. With the experience I received in the Army, I quickly excelled. However, I started to notice a commonality between the two. Everytime I showed my talent, passion, and competence for the work, I was met with more responsibility with slow growth opportunities for the effort. I was being burned out. Not only that, my team was being burned out. The stress we all experienced caused us to call out of work just to catch an ocassional break. The bad part here is: the workload never changed; So when we did call out, the team members who showed up were SLAMMED! Something had to be done. Then it hit me: What if there was a way to get people from the community to fill those shifts if they were trained and available? What if there was a way for businesses to access a community of readily available workers they can trust? What if I could make something that bridged the gap between talented people looking to earn extra money and the team desperately needing a helping hand?
The answer is Moonlyte. The Moonlyte software will facilitate the talent-to-business bridging process. It will show businesses where talented workers are, who they are, what relevant experience they have and more. Even better, it will allow the community a chance to make more money without interrupting their schedules, or taking on any debt. And if that’s not sweet enough, they can now gain eclectic, real-world work experience that translates well on a resume! With the money from Kickstarter, I will partner with skilled developers to bring this project to life by March 2020! We have to move fast though because it’s only a matter of time before someone comes and snatches this opportunity from the Augusta community. Your pledge(s) would be the catalyst to our success.
HOW MOONLYTE WORKS!
The biggest risk I can foresee with this project is obscurity. No one outside of my immediate circle knows about this opportunity. Similarly, the time it will take to complete the software could be potentially challenging. Funding is always an inherent challenge for great ideas, but that’s where you fine Change Agents come in to save the day! I truly appreciate you!
