Castle Creator is a world builder game for creating castles, and terrain that you can export in standard formats for use in games, or tabletop simulators.
Below is a sample of what can be created using our software.
The software is not going to come bundled with the standard library of components when we release it to the public, nor will it have the Kickstarter only castles like the ones you see in the example pics/videos here.
By joining early, you’re going to get the software at a highly discounted price and the components library for FREE.
How cool would it be to have 3D models that you can use as dungeons, or create your characters very own personal castle for roleplaying or to display your miniatures collections!
We have working software, alpha version, that we’ve been developing over the last couple of years now.
Nearly all of the features that we intend to release in the final product, exist and work currently.
Moving forward, the biggest tasks are fixing surfacing for Freeform shapes, adding additional features, building the component library, creating a custom installer, and QA testing.
After those tasks are completed, we will be sending it out for CD duplication/printing.
We are fairly confident that we’ll be able to meet that deadline, which we set to be just prior to the first Motor City Comic Con, in May of 2020.
We intend to have product on hand and available for purchase at this time.
We will also be deploying the software via other methods made available to us, such as Steam, Downloadables via our website.
We’ll be updating the campaign once a week or more with progress updates, screenshots, and videos.
We will also be answering any questions that you may have.
You can help us complete our quest by buying our games or funding our Kickstarter campaign.
I am leaning toward turning this into a full fledged roleplaying tool for Dungeon Masters, for creating maps and buildings. Someone suggested a top down view, so I’m adding that with grid.
If there is any information that you don’t see here, please feel free to comment and I will respond in as timely manner as I can.
We are on a quest to finalize the game and update the website to release this product to gamers and role players everywhere.
We also are planning the ability to output STL files for creating and ordering 3D models of the castles and buildings you create with this software!

Doing all this in a short timeframe is not an easy task, but we’re working on it! We will keep the backers informed along the way.

Castlecreator.com is an new game publisher looking to sell our software online and at national events in the US, and elsewhere. Castle creator is our only project and will be receiving 100% of our resources for continuing to add features and content. This campaign is set to close in February, 2020, and — if successful — will lead to several months of work as our team finalizes the game and expansions and prepares everything for upcoming Comic Cons and online licensing. We have completed a lot of the necessary work for the game already, but we still have a number of tasks for adding new features and bulletproofing existing ones. We would like to finish in advance of the upcoming Motor City Comic Con in 2020. As it stands now, the product could be deployed as is, but we want to polish it further before the upcoming events in 2020, which we will do a formal release at. For those who purchase the addon pack credits, we can offer no times on when addons will be coming. But if there is no addon within the first 12 months after the release date, we will convert your donation into the $100 donation and refund the $40 difference, and still give you access to any addons that come in the future. Regarding STL files for obtaining your own physical models of your creations, we are in discussions with various 3D printing services and there are issues with how our models are created with overlapping triangles that still need to be resolved. We are working with them to get these problems solved, but it may be something that is not available until some time after release, and there may be cost issues. This is something that we are passionate about providing, since I want my own 3D printed castles too! We understand that communication is key, and we will stay in touch with our backers during and after the Kickstarter, all the way through fulfillment of the rewards.
