[Since everyone has been exposed to the PnP campaign version, this campaign will be a short one!]
Many of us have seen videos of psychology tests where students identify playing cards with ease, then are thrown for a loop when the suits change color! The fun lies in their denial of what they see! Why should they have all the fun, right?
In this card game, 2 to 6 players are pitted against each other using separate decks that have only the suit (heart, diamond, spade, or club) on them, as they flip through their respective decks as fast as they can. If they encounter a suit card of the correct color, they place it in one pile; if the wrong color, they place it in a different pile. Once placed, a card cannot be moved from one pile to another. The player who finishes first calls out “Done!” All further play stops, and then the fun begins.
The deck: Voting from the (PnP) campaign last round, GREEN won out overwhelmingly [other color options available for certain rewards]. Note the fun, funky, distressed design of the backs of the cards and the tuck box!
PLAYING:
Each player gets their own 40-card deck. Shuffle your
decks and place the deck face down. Then, when one
player shouts “Go!” each player flips their top cards,
repeatedly, and place the correctly colored suits in one
pile, and the wrong-colored suits in another. Go as fast
as you can, because the first to finish shouts “Stop!”
and all action ends.
SCORING:
1. All players add one point for each card left in their hand.
2. Any player who has a wrong-colored card in their normal
pile adds 5 points for each wrong-colored card.
3. Any player who has a correctly-colored card in the wrong-
colored pile adds 5 points for each correctly-colored card.
WINNING:
The player with the lowest number of points wins!
Prototype already made. The only risk is if the goal is not reached.
