  • Time management is a great way to avoid the situation of being overwhelmed. Before starting any task, make a to-do list, set short deadlines, and have enough time to finish before the delivery.
  • You do not have to over-commit. Just be realistic with your ability to work and be ready to ask for help when required.
  • Consider taking breaks. Spare time to take a walk for a few minutes and take a deep breath.

Dealing with Anxiety at School

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), United States, advises parents of children with anxiety to ensure that their children eat a healthy diet, exercise at least 60 minutes, and get enough sleep every day.

If your child is having a hard time focusing during school time, it could be a sign of hyperactivity or attention-deficit disorder that requires medical attention. An overly-anxious behavior of your child at school can benefit from therapy. Be friends with your children so that they don’t hesitate to share things with you.
