Industry thought leaders, Rod Rosenstein and Bettina Warburg, are set to deliver keynotes at Legalweek New York, where key players in the legal industry are converging on February 4th through February 6th.
New York, NY – December 3, 2019 – Addressing more than 8,000 law leaders at the New York Hilton Midtown for ALM’s annual conference Legalweek, Former United States Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Warburg Serres Investments, Bettina Warburg, will speak to the critical challenges and opportunities in today’s legal landscape.
On February 4th at 9:10, Rod Rosenstein will address the politicization of law, sharing his views on the importance of separating politics from the rule of law. He will also analyze the evolving role of the Department of Justice and law enforcement in tackling new threats—including cyber, social media, as well as data privacy and protection.
On February 5th at 9am, Block Chain expert Bettina Warburg, with her expertise in clearly explaining complex—and confusing—technologies, will educate executives about leveraging emergent technologies including AI, IoT, and more.
Dedicated to exploring the latest business and regulatory trends, emerging technology and talent drivers affecting the industry, Legalweek features three conferences specifically designed to address current key issues facing different roles within the industry: LegalCIO; Legaltech; and Legal Business Strategy—a new conference debuting at Legalweek for the first time this year.
“We developed the new Legal Business Strategy program in direct response to the needs of today’s rapidly evolving industry,” said Mark Fried, Chief Financial Officer and President of Events at ALM Media. “Diving deeply into the strategies, practices, and organizational policies for law firms and corporate legal departments, this exciting new multi-track program provides the insight needed to propel the business of law forward, strengthen client-law firm collaboration, and foster talent development and advancement.” Also featured at Legalweek are pre-conference workshops, new Leadership Academy sessions, dynamic networking events, as well as hundreds of exhibitors on the Legaltech tradeshow floor.
